How the design is made
- Portrait 3:4 on the Botanical olive artwork
- Round portraits in laurel wreaths with botanical name labels
- Classic layout with soft curved sage lines
- EB Garamond throughout, with a Darwin quote as the caption
Your tree takes the artwork, the cards, the fonts, the colours and the lines. The people, the photos and the texts on the page stay your own.
Charles Darwin drew the first tree of life, so we made this template with his own family: four generations of the Darwins and the Wedgwoods. Each portrait sits in a laurel wreath, with a small botanical label for the name and the years, and soft curved sage lines connect the generations.
It is a quiet design that fits a living room or a study, and it keeps a family with many photos calm to look at.
